Tori Amos LIVE China

今天是第一次聽到這首歌，首先是歌名引起我的興趣，因為是自己的國家，接著是歌詞，令我非常感觸，
這首歌曲選自她的一張具有轉折點意義的專輯『Little Earthquakes』，高中時條件有限，沒有聽到。

其實認識Tori Amos 也是因為王菲，王菲的『冷戰』來自與她的『Silent all these years』，
而這首歌恰恰也是來自這張『Little Earthquakes』之中，專輯每首歌都值得細細聆聽，很經典，
我記得當時『音樂天堂』還是什么雜志評論：正如專輯名字，這張專輯在當時樂壇引起了一場地震。

看了很多這首『China』的LIVE版本，最喜歡這場1994年在Montreal Canada的版本。

最后，說說我為什么喜歡這首歌詞：
首先聯系這張專輯的年份，是1992年發行『參考維基百科，百度百科是1991年冬』，
那么這首歌應該在90年代初期『或者80年代末期』完成，個人覺得前者可能性更大，
Tori Amos不是一般那種只言情言愛的歌手，她的歌曲都表達她的各種觀點和態度，
所以聯系這個時期中國的狀況，她用這么一個非常好的例子來表達她對中國的理解，
于是她在歌中寫道：『Sometimes I think you want me to touch you，How
can I when you build a great wall around you』，看到這心里咯噔一下；
接著又寫道『But we never can agree on where to go』，何去何從無人知。
歌詞中提到Mexico，寫道：『Maybe you got lost in Mexico』，再看墨西哥，
90年前后進行經濟等方面改革，搞北美自由貿易，拉美一體化，隨后爆發金融危機。
Tori Amos的視野很獨到，整首歌歌詞影射的涵義很濃烈，當然，是我個人的觀點。
